4 Simple Steps to follow for a new Australian passport

Step 1: We can pick up a new passport application form for an adult or child passport from a participating Post Office that performs passport interviews. (or) Complete a form online through the Australian Passport Office website  and then we need to bring a printed copy to our interview.

Step 2: We need to provide 2 identical photographs along with our application. One photo must be endorsed and signed by a guarantor. Best way is to get Instant ID Photos from Post Offices that offer quality passport compliant photographs for us.

Step 3: Some locations require you to make an interview appointment and some accept walk-ins. Refer this link to make an appointment if required.

Step 4: We need to attend interview and pay application fees. In the interview, they will check our documentation is correct and confirm our identity before sending our application to the Australian Passport Office.
